Every year, the gaming industry gathers for some teaser events to showcase some of the latest and greatest games to sell in the future. Although the current state of the world has required the change to the digital space, not all the usual glasses continue. EA Play Live 2022 is one of them, with the announcement of it you will not miss this summer.
What happened to EA Play Live 2022?
EA Play Live has been an annual event starting in 2016, but the omission of the 2022 iteration will cause the editor to take another envelope.
“We love EA Play Live because it’s our way of connecting with our players and sharing the news with you all,” EA shared in a statement via IGN. “Without restrictions, things this year are not set up to show everything at once. We have exciting things in our world-class studies, and this year we will reveal much more about these projects when the time comes for each of them. We look forward to spending time with you all year round! “
The show event was always good for a few announcements of new games and updates to the existing ones, and fans could attend the physical event. After the previous two EA Play Live events were released live, we will not be offering a 2022 version.
This follows the news that Tampoco will have E3 this year, at least on the physical front. Not surprisingly, players should still look forward to the Summer Games Fest, as well as Hybrid Gamescom, which will be as much a personal event as it will be online in August.
