Walton Goggins is the first filmmaker of Amazon Prime’s Fallout series

Actor Walton Goggins is the first filmmaker of the Fallout-based TV series that Amazon is preparing.

The Fallout TV series was announced in the summer of 2020, and counts Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel) and Graham Wagner (Silicon Valley) as showrunners. The production stars Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan (the creators of Westworld for HBO) and Bethesda’s Todd Howard and James Altman. Nolan, in addition, will be busy directing the first episode.

That was all we knew about the show, but Deadline It has been revealed that Goggins, who many will remember for his roles in films like Django Desencadenado or Los Odiosos Ocho, as well as series like The Shield or Sons of Anarchy, landed for one of the main roles.

Details on that paper have yet to be officially announced, but Deadline does detail who will be playing a Ghoul (the mutants who inhabit Yermo and whose condition is the result of long radio exposure during the Great War).

The series for Fallout’s Prime Video is one of many projects currently in full swing to bring video games to the small and big screen. There is a trail series of The Last of Us or Halo, as well as confirmed films of Sonic the Hedgehog (the third), BioShock, It Takes Two or Twisted Metal, and also rumored adaptations of Jak and Daxter or Splinter Cell.
