Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown will have a collaboration with Tekken

Sega has announced a collaboration between Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown and Tekken.

Although we still don’t have a launch date (the Japanese company assured that it will provide more details “soon”), we know that this collaboration will result in various tracks for the characters of VF5 with the appearance of some of the legendary technicians.

In the trailer, which you can see below, Akira is shown with Kazuya Mishima’s clothes and appearance, as well as Lau with Heihachi’s Tekken 7 appearance.

Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown is currently available exclusively for PlayStation 4, although it has recently been speculated with the possibility of Sega releasing a port for PC. Its producer, Seiji Aoki, assured in an interview that it is something they are studying, although in case of follow-up it will not be possible to implement cross play with the version for the Sony console.
