After a delay from its initial launch date, which was estimated at the end of 2021Valve has confirmed that its handheld console is on pace to meet the new February 2022 launch date.
Steam Deck reservations first opened in July last year, and the lack of components left Valve’s plans frustrated.
In the latest update on the official Steam blogValve has confirmed that all is well and that the consoles will be sent to their owners in reservation order by the end of February.
Additionally, Valve announced that it has sent digital development kits so that video game creators can properly apply their titles to the device.
