Nordic Game Awards 2020 is organized by Nordic game and the Nordic Game Institute, which is formed by all associations of northern producers. Each producer organization has nominated one member to this year’s award jury, and the organizations have nominated games in nine categories. We see who the winners are.

- Gísli KonráðssonIceland – A veteran of the gaming industry and founder of rói Game Studios. Gísli has worked for the last twelve years on a wide range of games in Europe, Asia and the EU. UU.
- Jarle Hrafn GrindhaugNorway – Jarle Hrafn has written about video games for almost twenty years and founded PressFire.no in 2008. He also became part of the jury for the 2019 Nordic Game Awards.
- Jaakko Kemppainen, Finland – Jaakko works as a regional artist of games as art. He has almost twenty years of experience in the gaming and education industry. Designed by the game as an art form, his love is no secret.
- Albertina SparrhultSweden – From game designer to management consultant / team coach, Albertina has spent more than ten years in the industry, as well as in independent titles such as AAA. Loved the coffee, the dogs, the dancing and role playing with bolígrafo and paper.
- Victor BreumDenmark – Víctor leads Nordic Game Jam de noche, a creative direction study at the Statens Biografskole in Denmark during the day, while he makes his own games as a designer and programmer.

The unique visual style of this modern masterpiece makes the player the golden age of music videos and demos. The fluid visual movement, the beauty of the choreography and the universal design always surprise us by showing that games as a form of art can be redefined once and for all.

Motivation:
Do you remember when you changed the rules of “Monopoly” to your advantage? This year is the funniest thing for everyone so, all the time, only the shoe is on the other foot or milk carton. It’s like Monty Python wants to play a sports game. Two cups of sugar Please drive to the exit at the next autopilot. It’s really fun or unique. Or both? I forgot how.

The new technology brings new opportunities. Sometimes it’s a base for something new, but sometimes it’s an opportunity to take something big and make it spectacular. The winning game enhances the atmosphere of the game world while adding depth and richness to the game.

Motivation:
Buster Keaton was armed with a firearm in a “Matrix” directed by John Woo, and only if it was a comedy and crossed with “Max Payne” in 2D. Or something like that. It’s really violent and funny, but the most important thing is that it’s instantly fun.

Sound can be the shortest path to the soul. In this game, each part of the game lives and breathes its own moderate rhythm through the sound. The game also recognizes the collaborative nature of music and invites you to create a life mixed with music.

Motivation:
The design of the game consists of deciding what the player may and may not do. However, the design is hidden in a beautiful production. Sometimes it is revealed in front of the player. This game really pushes the boundaries of the game worlds. We have a philosophical question: “Who governs?” But do you give an answer?

Motivation:
Reality extends to us from a new perspective on games. Its goal is to bring virtual experiences as close as possible to real experiences. The winning game is beautiful, fun and stimulating, where the virtual reality platform plays a key role in connecting us as much with the world as with events.

There is nothing predictable when this audiovisual Russian mountain will take you dancing on screen. The minimalist yet vertically beautiful images put you in the carriage, and the pegadiza music pushes you a million miles an hour forward. It’s easy to learn, but not hard to love

All disciplines in the study create one brand that contains a divine freedom in this year’s Nordic Games. It is not as innovative as it is unique in atmosphere, and it takes you to a mysterious and surreal world that David Lynch would be proud to call his own, thus creating an experience that could have only happened in the most important part of the world.
