Sony announced yesterday that it will soon be implementing the option to share PlayStation 5 screenshots through the PlayStation mobile app.
We are gradually rolling out the ability to share your PS5 game captures via PS App in more regions! The Americas are first, with more countries coming next month. Details: https://t.co/yskER3hn8t pic.twitter.com/8sfrm6PZZj

The feature was notably absent from the Sony app, and we had to share captures from a USB device or from our own console. Microsoft console users, without restriction, can share their recent game screenshots and clips from the Xbox app.
The PlayStation app will keep our captures for 14 days on its cloud servers so we can access them anytime from our phone.
This option is now available in Japan and Canada, and will soon be extended to the United States. After that, Sony says, it will “gradually” expand to other countries.
