Publisher Secret Mode has decided to delay the launch of Little Orpheus on consoles and PC due to the invasion of Ukraine.
The new game from The Chinese Room, makers of Dear Esther and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, has a Russian pilot as the protagonist, in a humorous adventure with a Soviet aesthetic.
But naturally, the publisher felt that it was not the best time to launch it on the market, so they will publish it at a new date to be determined.
“In light of recent world events, today’s launch of Little Orpheus on PC and console will be delayed,” he wrote in a press release.
“While Little Orpheus was originally released on Apple Arcade in June 2020 and does not directly reference recent world events, we recognize that some game themes and content may now be disturbing to players.”
“We appreciate your understanding and will share more information in advance.”
