After confirming that Activision revealed that Call of Duty 2022 is a sequel to Modern Warfare from 2019, the editor has unveiled the key artwork for Modern Warfare 2, the upcoming launch of Infinity Ward.
Although many filters running through the game continue to circulate, the lack of official information about the game has made many wonder what the developer has reserved.
In addition to unveiling a Task Force 141 meeting with some fine artwork, Activision also shared Modern Warfare 2 launch date arriving a little earlier than expected.
Modern Warfare 2 launch date
In addition to revealing the key artwork featuring the legendary character of Modern Warfare 2, Simon “Ghost” Riley, the trailer finale confirms that Modern Warfare 2 will launch October 28, 2022. Compared to the November launch of Vanguard, it’s a little earlier than usual, but there are good reasons for the October launch.

Activision claims that Vanguard’s low sales are a factor in the decline in Call of Duty’s player base of 50 million in the last 12 months. The low interest in wine comes from a return to a scene from World War II after the relatively successful cycle of Black Ops Cold War.
Similarly, the launch date for Modern Warfare 2 is not as fast as when Modern Warfare 2019 made its debut. The launch of the 2022 launch was launched on October 25, 2019.
