We talked a bit about the Epic Games store and who came to make the contest live on Steam. Well, the store is now open and comes with a few games from other developers.
The first games in the Epic Games Store
Hades -a rogue-like mazmorras explorer from the creators of Bastion and Transistor. It is available in advance and will provide updates every month until its full launch in 2019. The game is developed by Super gigantic games.
Ashen – a role-playing and action game that tells the story of a nominee looking for a home. In the game you can establish relationships and invite other players to join your camp; who knows and can be helpful in achieving success. The game is developed by Annapurna / A44.
Hi neighbor: hide and seek – the precedent for Hello Neighbor, the exciting game of terror and sigilo. Discover what happened just before the success of the first game. The game is developed by tinyBuild.
Free games
The Epic Games Store will also offer a free game every two weeks until 2019. Epic will fund these free launches so we can always try something new in the store. The first free game will be Subnautica and will be available from December 14 to 27, followed by Super Meat Boy from December 28 to January 10.
The Epic Games store will grow over the long run of 2019 and into the future to the extent that new games open.
