Sifu sold over a million copies just three weeks after its launch. This is what the developer, Sloclap, announced in a press release that more than a dozen other figures: if they played, in total, for more than 10 million hours, more than 45% of the players have passed the second level and more than 150,000 have completed the game.
“We are very happy with the reception given to Sifu by the fans and the press”, explained Pierre Tarno, executive producer of Sloclap. “We wanted to create an authentic experience, an action and kung fu game that will honor our favorite movies. We are very happy for all of our fans around the world, and we feel especially honored by the reception that the game had in China.”
