Warner Bros. could have delayed the Suicide Squad game developed by Rocksteady until next year, for its launch in 2023.
The game, officially titled Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, was announced last August and has been confirmed as a sequel to the Arkham saga universe. It was originally supposed to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X this year.
However, and according to Bloomberg, Warner Bros. reportedly pushed the game back to 2023 without saying a word.
Bloomberg does not detail any reason why the game was delayed, but it could have been seen with the fact that Gotham Knights, the other Batman game that the Montreal studio of Warner Bros. is developing and others will launch in 2021, it was postponed to 2022.
