Rockstar confirms release date for GTA 5 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S

rock star announced the final release date of Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The new version of the popular open-world action game will be available from March 15th and will include “new graphics modes with up to 4K resolution, up to sixty frames per second, improvements in textures and drawing distance, HDR and ray tracing options and enhanced techniques for next-gen consoles with faster loading times, immersive 3D audio, and platform-specific features like advanced tactile feedback.”

It has also been confirmed that users of the current versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be able to transfer as much History Mode progress as GTA Online characters and progression to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with “a migration only at launch”.

As for the announced independent version of Grand Theft Auto Online, it will also be released on March 15th. For the first three months, it will be available for PlayStation 5 users for free.

And to conclude, Rockstar has officially announced that it is already working on the franchise’s next installment.
