Resident Evil 3 remake has sold five million copies worldwide

Capcom updated Resident Evil 3 remake sales figures.

The Japanese company explained that “the digital promotion strategy which included pricing measures and increased sales of the PC version” was designed to see the survival horror reach five million copies worldwide.

Since its release last year, Resident Evil Village has significantly outsold Resident Evil 3, placing it in the tenth position of Capcom’s best-selling video game in its entire history.

The most successful, without restrictions, remain Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The first collected 9.3 million copies, while the second exceeded ten million and is the best-selling title in France to date.
