Xbox announces next step to take Project xCloud most players in the world. Project xCloud has arrived on Android in Western Europe, and from today the team will start distributing invitations to the preview in Germany, France and the Netherlands. This week it is, among other things, Spain’s turn.
Catherine Gluckstein, general manager and product manager for Project xCloud, announced the following about the decision to launch today the preliminary version of Project xCloud in Western Europe:
“In collaboration with Microsoft’s Azure team, we are actively monitoring the impact of COVID-19 on the Internet service in Western Europe, and we believe that we can responsibly launch our preliminary version gradually in the region. We will start in each country “with a small number of participants and increase this number over time to avoid saturating the regional band gap. We feel that new players from Western Europe are having fun, try Project xCloud and help shape the future of the game in streaming”. – Catherine Gluckstein, general manager and product manager for Project xCloud.
What is Project xCloud?
In case you did not know, Project xCloud allows us to enjoy more than 50 Xbox games on your Android phone or tablet, streaming directly from the cloud via Wi-Fi or the mobile network. It is important to add that during the preliminary version, the current stage of development, it is not necessary that we have the games or a console. Hope to continue adding games with time for our enjoyment.
