Pokémon Legends: Arceus sold over 359,000 last week in Japan

Pokémon Legends: Arceus continues to dominate the list of video game sales in Japan.

The Nintendo and Game Freak game has sold over 359,000 copies in the past seven days and is now approaching 1.8 million.

The rest of the list is already almost entirely occupied by games for Nintendo Switch, although this week highlights the strong results of Dying Light 2: Stay Human, which makes it into the top 10 as well as its PlayStation 5 version as well as PlayStation 4, both distributed in Japan by Spike Chunsoft.

When it comes to hardware, Nintendo Switch also continues to dominate console sales charts. Nintendo’s hybrid console OLED model has sold almost as much as the PlayStation 5 disc-drive model. Microsoft’s Xbox Series X/S, for its part, continues a trend toward what we’ve seen with the Xbox One in Japan, but barely sells 3,000 units per week.
