Pokémon Go Tower: Johto is the sequel to last year’s Tour de Go: Kanto, but this time around it focuses on the original second-generation Pokemon from the Johto region.
During the Pokémon Go: Johto Tour, you will be able to capture all Pokémon from the second generation, in addition to completing new ones research assignments and 10 Collection disappointments. Access to certain parts of the event depends on if you have free entry or games.
If you decide to purchase entry to Pokémon Go: Johto Tour, you’ll need to decide whether you want to play the Gold or Silver version of the event.

Pokémon Go Tower: Johto – date and time: When does Pokémon Go Tower: Johto start?
The main event of Pokémon Go: Johto Tower is celebrating Saturday, February 26 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (local time)and in-person events will take place at select locations on Sunday, February 27.
Pokémon Go Tower: Johto is divided into “destinations” that change every hour, centered in one of the specific areas of the Johto region. During these hours, Pokémon that appeared in this area in the original games will appear more frequently in a safe state.
Here is the program of Pokémon Go: Johto Tower. It takes into account the times that we indicate their locality, as well as in any part of the world where they live: you will always start with Pueblo Primavera.
- 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. – Pueblo Primavera
- 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. – City of Malva
- 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. – National Park
- 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. – Ciudad Trigal
- 1 to 2 p.m. – Monte Plateado
- 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. – Pueblo Primavera
- 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Ciudad Malva

- 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Ciudad Trigal
- 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. – Monte Plateado

Each of the hosts will have an associated collection office if you have an entry. Even if you haven’t purchased an entry to Pokémon Go: Johto Tour, you will be able to enjoy the appearance of these Pokémon.
Pokémon Go Tower: Johto – reward
During the Pokémon Go: Johto Tour, you will be able to access up to four investigations, but only you will have all the activities and you will only have one entry to the event.
The first two surveys are available to all players and their timers, i.e. you must complete them before the timer expires or you will lose the rewards. The first is Pokémon Go Tower: Johto – Desafío de Combat, which focuses on battles against trainers, while the second focuses on the legends Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.
If you purchased an entry to Pokémon Go Tower: Johto, you will have access to a special investigation with no time limit. You can encounter the singular Celebi and get the popular Red Gyarados, the shiny form of this Pokémon.
After completing the investigation, you will be able to access a new magistrate investigation called Apex. If you complete this mission, you can add Lugia Oscuro Apex and Ho-Oh Oscuro Apex to your collection. If you wish, you can purify them.
Magistrates’ investigations are thought to take up a lot of your time, so don’t be surprised if it’s too late to complete them. The first of these (All in One #151) requires reaching level 40, so a disappointment is expected.
Pokémon Go Tower: Johto – Collecting Chess
You will be able to complete 10 collection challenges during the Pokémon Go: Johto Tour, but you will only be able to access them if you have purchased an entry for the event.
Five of the Desafíos in the Collection are associated with the five cities: Pueblo Primavera, Ciudad Malva, Parque Nacional, Ciudad Trigal and Monte Plateado. You will be able to capture any Pokémon that appear more frequently in a safe state during those specific times.
The other five collection tools are somewhat different. Its names are Gold, Silver, Evolution, Special and Incurrence.
Similar to last year’s Pokémon Go: Kanto Tour, Desafío Collection: Evolution will require you to complete all Gen 2 evolutions. This includes all item evolutions, such as using a metal refinery to evolve Onix en Steelix, and the two Eeveeluciones (Umbreon y Espeon) of Gen 2.
Fortunately, the requirement to walk with Eevee during a closed distance will be removed from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. (local time) on Saturday, February 26.
Failed to Collect: Incursion will prevent you from battling and capturing Pokémon available in Raids during the event, such as Suicune and Lugia.
As of this writing we don’t know too much about Special Collection Tools, Gold and Silver. If we take the Pokémon Go: Kanto Tour as a reference, it is likely that Gold and Silver will make it possible to capture or exchange the exclusive Pokémon of each version. This means that if you play the Silver version, you will need a player with the Gold version and vice versa.
Differences between playing for free and entering Pokémon Go: Johto Tower
Some of the most notable features from the Pokémon Go: Johto Tour alone will be available to purchasers of entry to the event.
If you’re playing free games, you’ll be able to capture more Gen 2 Pokémon through incursions, eggs received during the event, and different locations. Additionally, all 2 km Eggs captured during the event will be included in one of the Generation II Pokémon creations: Pichu, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Togepi, Tyrogue, Smoochum, Elekid, and Magby.
Don’t forget: this event is the perfect opportunity to add two regional exclusive Pokémon (Heracross and Corsola) to your Pokédex. You can also get a Shiny Smeargle.
Additionally, the requirement to travel to evolve with Eevee for evolution in Umbreon and Espeon will be removed until 11 p.m. (local time) on February 26 for all players.
Additionally, if you capture a Lugia or Ho-Oh during Pokémon Go Tower: Johto you will encounter a special attack: Aerochorro (Lugia) or Sacred Fire (Ho-Oh). Meganium, Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Tyranitar, Espeon, Umbreon, and Mamoswine Community Day attacks will be available during the event.
Finally, all players (with or without participation) can complete two timer surveys and perform up to six Special Trades during the event.
If you buy an entry in Pokémon Go: Johto Tower, you will have to choose between the Gold or Silver edition of the event, you will have access to the collection offices, you will unlock a special mission and, when completed, you will receive a new magistrate’s inquiry.
In addition, in the store you can receive three free ranged injury passes in the game store, and by playing Gym Photodiscos you can get an additional 9 injury passes.
Finally, if you have an entry, you will have an additional bonus: egg eclipse distance reduced to 1/4, double Caramels per eclipse and additional caramels for capturing certain Pokémon.

How to buy an entry for Pokémon Go Tower: Johto
If you want to participate in the full event of Pokémon Go: Johto Tour, you will have to buy an entry which will cost you 11.99 € and which Nope you can buy with PokéMonedas.
