Activision Blizzard has announced the date for the closed beta of Overwatch 2.
A few weeks ago, the American company explained that it wanted to separate the PvP elements from the PvE so that it could start with a series of bets that would allow the community to try the game before it was initially announced. Aaron Keller, director of Overwatch 2, confirmed that there will be several bets as early as 2022, celebrating the first of them in April.
That date, ultimately, is April 26. In this first closed beta you will be able to try the 5v5 mode of Overwatch 2, the new Push mode, four new maps (Royal Circuit in Escort, Midtown in Hybrid and New Queen Scream and Colosseo in Push), a new hero, Sojourn, modified versions and four existing heroes (Orisa, Doomfist, Bastion and Sombra) and the new ping system.
As we explained in due time, users who wish to participate in the closed beta can apply for the official website. In case of acceptable results (with criteria taking into account the region and the technical specifications of the computer) you will receive an email in the next few days.
