Niantic has reduced the duration of Pokémon Go Community Days to a minimum

Niantic detailed a change in Pokémon Go Community Days.

As you can see in our Community Day guide, this monthly event increases the appearance range of a Pokémon species, in addition to allowing you to learn exclusive moves and offering other bonuses in addition to the ‘experience.

During the pandemic, the time of these events has doubled from 3 to 6 hours, but this change will be repeated during April’s Community Day, dedicated to Stufful, which will return from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (local time).

According to Niantic, “we have discovered that only five percent of our coaches attend the event longer than three hours (…) on Stufful Community Day we will return to the three hour format in hopes of meeting more coaches in person and give people more opportunities to connect as they explore. “

To compensate for the less time, he included more bonuses than usual in his April release (between them double caramel and triple PX per capture).

In June 2021, Niantic began rolling back some of the changes introduced to Pokémon Go during the 1940s, although in some cases it had to roll back due to the poor reception of certain measures by the gaming community.
