Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the new movie based on the Sega mascot.
In it, Ben Schwartz will return voicing Sonic and actors James Marsden and Jim Carrey, the latest to bring the villainous Robotnik to life. As newcomers, we tend to see Colleen O’Shaughnessey voice Tails and Idris Elba do his with Knuckles.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will premiere in Spain on April 1, and a few weeks ago a third release was confirmed, as well as a spin-off for television with Knuckles as the protagonist.
As for video games, the blue eagle will be back this year with Sonic Frontiers, an open-world game developed by the Sonic Team that will offer versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One , Nintendo Switch and PC.
