BANDAI NAMCO has released a new gameplay video of Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions, an arcade-style football game based on the works of the creator of the TV series, Yoichi Takahashi. Although the whole press is trying to measure Hype, as it is logical, as long as you take a look at the pictures to see that it is a game that in principle can result in interesting, but in time we will see them again and again, the same animations of “Super Tires” or animations of the harbor that will run fast with a very accentuated repetitive feel.
Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will bring us an anime experience of a world of professional football with a complete arcade style. Players will be able to perform a series of powerful super-offensive and defensive moves while competing against other teams. The game will include several game modes, including story, mode versus and mode versus online.
The game comes with vocals in Japanese and with subtitles in English, español neutral and Brazilian Portuguese. There is no doubt about an arrow in the hearts of the nostalgic. We hope we can avoid such animations of special skills to give rhythm to the games and stop the repetitive feeling that will surely reach us all.
My impression has already been plagued at the beginning of this post. And you, what do you think?
Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions comes to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC via STEAM. There is no marked launch date.
