Microsoft says it wants to take Call of Duty to pass

The acquisition of Activision Blizzard on behalf of Microsoft has raised a lot of questions about the future of the saga. For example, recently Microsoft is clearly compromised to continue launching Call of Duty on PlayStation “more than existing agreements”.

And now the company also agrees that it would like to bring these titles to the Nintendo Switch.

In an interview with CNBCMicrosoft President Brad Smith said that “Call of Duty will bring us to Nintendo devices. We will also want to bring the other popular titles from Activision Blizzard, ensuring that they continue to be available on PlayStation and begin to remain available on Nintendo.”

Without restrictions, that doesn’t mean Activision has any active plans to develop Call of Duty games for Switch, at least for now. Everything will depend on the circumstances when the purchase takes effect in 2023.
