Microsoft has discontinued all Xbox One consoles

Microsoft’s director of console marketing, Cindy Walker, has announced in a statement to The Verge that Microsoft has stopped production of Xbox One consoles in all of its models to focus on Xbox Series X production.

By 2020, Microsoft has completed production of the Xbox One X and Xbox One S All Digital to focus resources on next-generation production. Now it is confirmed that the Xbox One S has also stopped manufacturing.

Unfortunately, these announcements appeared a day after Bloomberg reported that Sony had decided to keep production of PlayStation 4 consoles during 2022, due to the semiconductor crisis and PlayStation 5 stock issues. .

The Xbox Series X and S, on the other hand, are already the best-selling consoles in Microsoft’s history, despite the fact that, as usual, no concrete numbers have been released. What we do know is that in the UK there are already over a million consoles sold, with figures from last December.
