Microsoft Flight Simulator World Update VIII is available

Global Update VIII for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available.

This update is of particular interest to Spanish users, as it notably improves the visual representation of our country (as well as Portugal, Gibraltar and Andorra), adding high-resolution geographical improvements, elevation data, photographic images and.

Microsoft also highlights the inclusion of four portable airports (A Coruña, Faro, Pico and La Seu d’Urgell), photogrammetry in six additional cities (Bilbao, Málaga, Lisbon, Cascais, Coímbra and Barreiro) and ninety-nine detailed points of interest.

Among these new points of interest represented in more detail are the Sagrada Familia de Barcelona, ​​​​the Campo de Criptana, the Acueducto de Segovia, the Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba, Las Hurdes de Cáceres or Las Médulas de León.

This update also includes four new unassisted flights, four new introductory flights, and five new failed landings.

Microsoft Flight Simulator was released in August 2020 for PC and July 2021 for Xbox Series X/S. The flight simulator, one of the most complete of its kind, is available on Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service, both for consoles, PC and for cloud play with Xbox Cloud Gaming.
