launch date, latest filters, news and everything we know so far

Final Fantasy 7 Remake was the game of the year for many in 2020, but it is possible that the new fans did not know that it was only a story about the first part of the original game.

FF7 Remake ends when the team prepares to leave Midgar, but in the original game it is only in the middle of the game’s first disc. So expect FF7 Remake Part 2 to continue with the events on the first disc and then generally touch on some of the other key events on disc 2.

How Square Enix divided the content is a hassle at the moment. While we hope to know more, here’s all we know so far about Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2.

April 28, 2022: The revelation is still expected this year

The latest news is that we always hope to hear something about Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 in 2022.

In general, we would say that we would expect it at E3 2022, but it was canceled, and so far only the Xbox has confirmed its own escape.

If we really expect it to show up in a PlayStation screen, as previous games have done, there is always the possibility that it will show up elsewhere.

Final Fantasy 7: Remake Part 2 release date

We have no news on when we can expect the second part of what will definitely be an epic adventure. In fact, the latest Final Fantasy news that reached us was that the decimosexta delivery will be exclusively for PS5, while FF14 Online continues to tread its own path. Given that the franchise has never been in the minds of gamers, it is possible that Square Enix hopes to have more concrete information about Part 2, especially since Part 1 has been considered vaporware for years.

Final Fantasy 7: Remake Part 2 platforms

Considering that Final Fantasy 7 Remake (Part 1) is exclusively for PS4 (or at least so far), we can imagine that Part 2 will only be on a PlayStation console. That said, Square skipped the first Kingdom Hearts games before bringing Kingdom Hearts 3 to Xbox One, so who knows at the moment.

Without a doubt, it’s quite likely that the game will be available on PS4, so hopefully it’s coming to PS5, possibly with a PS4 version playing a secondary role.

Trailer for Final Fantasy 7: Remake Part 2

It does not fail to say that there is no trailer yet. Without hesitation, we can suggest watching and listening to the video followed by @alex_moukala, a music producer, orchestra composer and YouTuber who is worth following.

The video in question is intended to try to see how the next trailer of the game (and the music that accompanies it) could touch on some of the more familiar tunes from the original game, such as “Main Theme of Final Fantasy VII”.

Either way, bring a watch.
