Krafton buys mobile game company 5minlab

Krafton, the developer behind PUBG: Battlegrounds, has bought mobile game company 5min lab for around $19 million.

In the acquisition statement, Krafton Director CH Kim described 5minlab’s ability to be “an independent study with exceptional developers who possess excellent technical capabilities.”

5minlab is a Korean developer based in Seoul and is basically known for its work on Smash Legends, an online mobile PvP game that pits its players in 3 vs 3 Battles. The game is quite popular in Asia, but it also has a notable impact in our country. He also created other titles such as As in Adventure, Brickscape and Express Thru.
