Kirby and the Forgotten Land was the top-selling video game last week in stores in Japan.
The new version for Switch of the popular HAL Laboratory and Nintendo franchise sold more than 380,000 copies when it was released, a cat that alone surpassed sagas like Super Mario, Pokémon or Splatoon.
Coinciding with the launch of the new Kirby, around eighty-four thousand Nintendo Switch units have also been sold, highlighting the nearly fifty thousand OLED models. The top-of-the-line Switch model hit nearly 1.5 million units in Japan in just six months, a figure that will hit full security this week.
The other big launch this week was Ghostwire: Tokyo, which comes in at number six in the top ten. Of the game Tango Gameworks and Bethesda, more than ten thousand copies were sold in one week while the PlayStation 5 exceeded thirty-five thousand units sold in Japan, counting the model with disc and digital player.
