Humble Bundle has raised more than ten million euros which will go to beneficial actions in favor of Ukraine.
The bundle organizers explained on Twitter that “Our Stand With Ukraine bundle is complete. We have already donated almost twenty million dollars for humanitarian initiatives in Ukraine. Thank you all for your support!”.
The bundle has been available for a week and includes items worth around $2,500. A total of 473,796 bought the package, which represents €18,845,849. 100% of these revenues will go to the organizations Razom for Ukraine, International Rescue Committee, International Medical Corps and Direct Relief, which provide “vital humanitarian support to the Ukrainian people”.
The Stand With Ukraine pack includes a number of titles, some of them as interesting as Metro Exodus, Back 4 Blood, The Long Dark, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Slay the Spyre, Nex Machina, Sunset Overdrive or Fable Anniversary. In addition, there were several books and in particular licenses for computer programs intended for the development of video games.
This is not the only initiative within the video game industry to support Ukraine after the Russian invasion. Epic Games, for example, raised over fifty million dollars in three days, after announcing that it would donate all Fortnite revenue over two weeks. Other companies, such as Bandai Namco, CD Projekt, Square Enix, Embracer Group or Supercell have also made significant donations for this cause.
Our Stand With Ukraine 🇺🇦 all for charity package is over. Together, we have raised over $20 million for humanitarian relief efforts in #Ukraine!
Thank you all for your support !!! ❤️https://t.co/5qd70ruIoP
