Investigation tasks in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
To complete the Pokédex in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you will need to complete enough Investigation tasks for that species of Pokémon to reach Investigation Level 10.

Each Pokémon has a list of Investigation Tasks which can, for example, capture several copies of the same species, observe specific combat moves or even evolve them. Some Pokémon also have Pokédex tasks associated with petitions, such as whether Drifloon is played with children.
Some Pokédex tasks have multiple phases, allowing you to increase the level of progress by repeating the same activity. For example, you can increase the number of “Caught Examples” up to five times, reducing the level of progression upon entering that Pokémon.

You can see the investigation tasks of a Pokémon visiting its page in your Pokédex and blinking down. This way you will see all the associated tasks and your progress in each of them. You’ll also be able to see the Pokémon’s investigation tasks when you see an example in a safe state: center the camera there and pulse Abajo.
Your progress level for that Pokémon also appears in the lower right corner of its Pokédex entry.

During the Pokédex progress report, you will be able to see which Pokédex entries have been updated or finalized, in addition to the number of investigation tasks that have been completed.
