Changing the username in the Twitch application
To change your username in the official Twitch application, first tap your profile picture in the upper left corner of the main page. Then tap Configuration, then Account and then Edit Profile.

Things to consider
There are three important things to keep in mind when changing your Twitch username.
First, you can only change your username once every 60 days. You can change it as many times as you want, but you must wait 60 days between each change before you can change it again.
Second, your old username will be retained temporarily in case of a change of mind, but will not be retained forever. Once you have changed your username, your old username will be released in the group of available usernames after six months.
