The Halo TV star broke a new ratings record on Paramount+.
While you can’t see how many of those viewers will continue to subscribe to the streaming service after the one-month free trial ends – we’ll note that all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users will get one – Deadline reports that the series “set a new record as the first-ever preview of a series globally within the first twenty-four hours.”
Paramount hasn’t made public the exact number of viewers, but its own Deadline aims to be sure that Halo has surpassed previous records, set in 1883 (the Yellowstone precinct) with 4.9 million viewers. In principle, the figures will be known later this week, when they are published by Nielsen.
Tanya Giles, head of programming at Paramount+, said that “bringing Halo to life as a streaming series has been one of the most rewarding endeavors for Paramount+ to date, and we couldn’t have been more excited about the massive fan response to its debut. from the Serie “.
“With our phenomenal partners at Showtine, 343 Industries and Amblin Television, we can’t expect fans to experience more of this incredible universe.”
The Halo series kicked off on March 24, and apart from the good number of viewers, there was also a lot of excitement among the fans. This is undoubtedly good news for Paramount, as the producer was arrested a few weeks ago confirming a second season especially before the release of the first chapter of the first season.
