Of the already announced SHIB projects, the Shibarium Layer-2 quiz has attracted the most attention from the Shiba community.
As the Shiba Inu ecosystem continues to grow through its expansive SHIB route, projects like SHIB: The Metaverse and the Shiba Inu game will be added to an already expanded network. Without restrictions, for several other ongoing projects, they will all be dependent on Shibarium.
Here’s a look at everything we know about Shibarium and what it can offer ShibArmy.
What is shibario?
Shibarium is a blockchain / layer-2 solution proposed for the first time by Ryoshi, the creator of Shiba Inu Coin. Once launched, SHIB tokens will migrate to Shibarium.
Ryoshi originally used the term blockchain, it is more likely that Shibarium is an L2 sitting on a blockchain (Ethereum) that already exists. The creator of SHIB says: “The boundary between an L2 and its own blockchain is delicate, I would like to say, what exactly is the difference between Matic L2 and BSC?”
One of the main goals will be to reduce the transaction rates for those in the Shiba ecosystem.
Ryoshi first said that Shibarium’s transaction rates will be minimal or even zero. In a speech to Shiba Discord, Shytoshi Kusama, head of the Shiba project, said: “Shibarium will offer lower prices for each service, play whatever is based on it.”

High fuel tariffs are one of the most pressing issues facing Ethereum. Dada’s dependence on Shiba on the Ethereum network suffered some high petrol prices when the Shiboshi NFTs were launched.
Shytoshi also promoted the benefits of Shibarium on Twitter following the violent reaction to Shiboshi’s launch.
As with other projects, Shibarium will compete with some form of SHIB refraction technique to break SHIB. It can also act as a bridge to other ecosystems.

Shibarium launch date
We still do not have an official launch date for Shibarium, but it could be launched in 2022.
After its development partner, Unification, announced that Shibarium was in alpha and would soon receive a public lawsuit, Shiba developer Kaal Dhairya announced on Twitter that it would soon enter a beta phase.
During the Shiba Inu AMA, Discords Queenie-mod raised expectations for the launch date to confirm that the project is not over to avoid misunderstanding people. Without a doubt, I say that I expect Shibarium to launch in 2022, very likely within the first half of the year.
This coincides with previous comments about Shibarium’s launch date. In September 2021, Shytoshi described the Shibarium as in the middle stage. The Shiba team also confirmed in a blog post in March that page 2 is on track for a launch in 2022.

The last detail we have comes from developer Eric M, who says Shibarium will launch faster than Ethereum 2.0, which is still expected to be launched in the final in 2022.
Without limitations, with so many projects underway, these deadlines can change according to priorities and development progress. As Shytoshi said in Discord on January 20:
The game is moving well. Shibario. Shi. Everything is moving forward. It only takes a lot of time to make jokes.
Will Shibario use SHIB?
Although SHIB and LEASH tokens are now more useful on ShibaSwap, none of these will be the primary token for Shibarium. In return, it will be GOOD.
Ryoshi explained this reasoning, confirming that “BONE wants a fair start and ‘0’ because we do not tend to be bothered by the bags of whales bending”.
Incidentally, the titles SHIB and LEASH BONE won when ShibaSwap was launched for the first time, which means that there is probably a large amount of BONE whales for it.
Despite Ryoshi’s initial vision to include BONE for Shibarium, some users expressed their frustration when the December SHIB AMA returned to confirm BONE’s role in Shibarium.
