At TRIGGER, we are fascinated by working with CD PROJECT RED to create a new story around the world of the long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077. It’s a big challenge to adapt this universe to an anime, but we are eager to to face it. ” said Masahiko Otsuka. CEO of Studio TRIGGER. Director Hiroyuki Imaishi added: “I have always loved cyberpunk as a genre, but it has always been difficult for me to create an original work. Therefore, I am very excited to work with CD PROJECT RED on this project. It will not be easy to complicate fans of the games and anime, but I love desafío and I wish the production came. We will do everything to meet and exceed expectations ».
