Does it ever make you feel like the Cyberpunk 2077 vanity meteorological system needs a little mix? Are the sandstorms in the city center and the regular floods in the humid climate of The Badlands prevented?
Well, a new Halliphax2 mod, simply called “Weather Randomiser”, could provide the chemical climate fixes you’re looking for, making Cyberpunk’s climate coincide a little better with the varied global space and ensuring that few effects can be seen.
According to Halliphax2, the mod is capable of increasing the number of climate-to-climate transitions, depending on the game’s meteorological system, from 18 to 35, allowing for greater variation.
Cyberpunk 2077 Courage to taste the climate
Inspired by the work of two other mods, Knochey’s “Enhanced Weather V2” and rmk1234’s “Weather Probability Rebalance”, Halliphax2 presents a number of consequences in the game, some of which can be observed in the following lapso video of the time.
Some of the more notable changes involve the storms in the playing arena, which will now occur frequently in the desert; goes once a day or every other day, but then it gets much worse in the city itself.
Toxic rain, another of the most aesthetically impressive climates in the game, will be limited to occur about twice a week and will, as with sandstorms, not last as long as the most common climates.
In these types of common climates, the sun and regular rainfall will occur more frequently and will last longer, while “snow, pollution and the three types of cloudy climates are much more common and quite cyclical among them”.
If the randomness of the Halliphax2 mod frustrates you, you can always try “Holocall Weather – Call NPCs to change weather”, a mod uploaded by Janecio14 that gives you a little more control over things by calling certain NPCs in the game immediately. detoxify specific climate types.
Both mods are available for installation manually or using a mods administrator.
