Code masters has announced it GRIDone of his most beloved Frenchmen, preparing for his long-awaited return with his opens September 13th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. As the fourth delivery of the series, GRID offers an intense racing action that spans four continents through some of the world’s most famous streets and circuits. Fernando Alonso as a career counselor in the game
GRID finds the perfect balance and offers risk and compensation for any type of pilot. The maneuver is incredibly sensitive with a learning curve that appeals to users of causal games as much as to the grounded simulation pilots. Progression is rewarded with characteristic elements, teammates, player cards, achievements and pilots. The IA-controlled pilots in the game will take the user to the extreme to earn a spot on the podium and achieve victory in the GRID World Series World Championship. Realistic damage can affect as much performance as the control of the car and too much contact with the pilot himself will turn into a formidable enemy that will not stop until nothing comes in the race.
Considered one of the best current pilots in F1, resistance and in series cars, Fernando Alonso has signed on as a career consultant and will appear in his own game. Players will take part in a series of sporting events against some components of FA Racing, the Alonso de Esports team, through several racing classes before coming face to face with Formula 1 world champion Renault R26 F1 in a final meeting.
“GRID as a career franchise is honored by our community and we are enchanted to be able to take it to the current generation of consoles,” has confirmed Chris Smith, GRID Game Director at Codemasters. “The game offers a lot of variety and depth, from the amount of modern and classic vehicles to the locations and racing options. Recognized for its maneuverability, the game will appeal to all types of players, from random pilots making a defense with support, to simulation pilots looking for real fun ”.
“We are also fascinated to be able to work with Fernando Alonso, who is without a doubt one of the best pilots in the world. His experience and knowledge have enabled us to improve performance as much as in the handling of our vehicles. We could not be more proud to have signed with him, so much for his performance in the game as for his role as a career counselor. We want our players to experience the final version of the game when it launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in September ”.
Fernando Alonso has added that: “After competing in F1, in endurance championships and with series cars, GRID is the perfect game for me and I am fascinated that the studio has been incorporated into my team and myself in the game. GRID offers so much variety and looks with good eyes on the challenge that players can face me ”.
