Cooperative battles are now available in Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition.
As explained in the update of Steamthis new mode features “historical narratives and objectives” with “the same familiar jugabilidad, but adjusted for co-op experiences”, complete with full voice-overing and an AI tuned to take on two opponents at once.
Until now, the popular strategy game had competitive multiplayer, but now it can be enjoyed in the company of a friend. In this sense, Microsoft has revealed that for battles that require part of the DLC, it will be enough for the user to order the invitation to the game.
In total, there are twelve Historical Battles, six of which are base game provinces (Algiers, Christopher Da Gama’s Expedition, Chuvash Cape, Raid on the Caribbean, Fort Duquesne, and Battle of New Orleans) and six other separate DLCs (The Battle of the Three Kings, Fall of the Hausa and The Era of the Princes, from The African Royals DLC; The Burning of the USS Philadelphia, from the United States Civilization DLC; Grito de Dolores, from the Mexican Civilization DLC; and Battle of Queenston Heights , which both DLCs require).
Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition was released in October 2020 and revamped with one of the biggest exponents of the PC strategy genre. In our review, we tell him that “with cosmetic changes and quality of life, but leaving the base intact, this is the best way to play an indisputable classic”.
