During its second annual event “Into the Abyss” at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Ángeles, Pearl Abyss revealed that Black Desert will be coming to PlayStation 4 (PS4) in 2019. In addition, the company announced that Advance purchase starts on July 2nd and will include early access to the entire game and rewards. Following its success on PC, mobile and Xbox with 20 million registered users worldwide, the Open World action MMORPG will be available on PS4 in North America, Europe, Japan and South Korea.
“Our team has worked tirelessly to make Black Desert the best, and we are finally ready to compensate our patient base of players,” said Kwangsam Kim, Black Desert’s lead producer at Pearl Abyss. “If you’re looking for an open world action MMORPG on PS4 with a deep personalization to tailor it to your gaming experience, we encourage you to pre-order in July.”
Pearl Abyss revealed more than that Black Desert Mobile will be launched globally in 2019 for iOS and Android platforms. Currently available in South Korea, Japan and Taiwan, Black Desert Mobile features stunning graphics, skill-based combat, and characterization for the first time in a mobile game on the market.
Pearl Abyss will soon be sharing more detailed information with PS4 content creators interested in joining the Black Desert Partner program.
