Arc System Works Confirms Adding Restore Code To Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Next Summer

Arc System Works has announced that it will be adding a network restore code to the PlayStation 4 and PC versions of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax this summer.

The original PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 fighting game is coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on March 17, in a version that includes all Persona 4 Arena content and voice acting in Japanese and English. This new edition, without restrictions, will not include a network rollback code at launch, a feature that will have to wait a few months, until a free update is released on PlayStation 4 and PC (Nintendo Switch does not rollback).

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Producer Kazuhisa Wada has explained that “it’s been almost ten years since the original Persona 4 Arena was released on PlayStation 3. When we announced the new versions, we were surprised by your response, and we’re especially excited to see the feedback from fans who play Persona 4 Arena Ultimax in the past”.

“As for the restore network code, we plan to launch the feature in the summer of this year. We can’t expect to see everyone divided playing against each other.”

Of the PlayStation 3 version, we say in its review published in 2014 that “it continues to do well in the first place, providing a network for those accustomed to the genre and a starting point for those who want to learn. A balanced game, fun , with nearly 20 characters with their own style who love to see how they move on screen and learn how to handle them”.
