During The Game Awards 2018 in Los Angeles, Annapurna interactive revealed it in a surprising announcement Ashena role-playing game and action game, is now available for players to purchase in the new Epic Games store and on Xbox One.
Ashen is developed by the A44 studio headquartered in New Zealand and published by Annapurna Interactive, the editorial staff behind titles such as Donut County, Florence, Gorogoa and What Remains of Edith Finch.
Ashen is a cooperative adventure about a vagabond who is looking for a place to call home. Basically, Ashen is about tying ties so players can cross them and choose to guide those they trust towards their camp, animate them to calm down before the fire, and then set off with them. There is no sun and no natural light coming from the eruptions that cover the land of ceniza. This is a world where nothing is difficult, no matter how strong you are at fighting it.
