Each year, the Game Awards recognize creative and technical expertise in the video game industry. The evening program on December 10, 2020 brought together a mix of players, developers and gaming culture at the forefront. Presented by Geoff Keighley and featuring guest speakers such as Brie Larson, Keanu Reeves, Christopher Nolan, Reggie Fils-Aime, Nolan North and many others, the show was a huge celebration of everything related to games.
Xbox was nominated in nine categories, including Best RPG, Best Sim / Strategy, Best Action / Adventure and more. This is the category of Microsoft’s Impact Games and Flight Simulator as best sim / strategy.
